Possible Chalice upgrade?

Ryze doesn't need mana regen, he already has 40% CDR from just Frozen Heart, and AP doesn't really do very much for him. Doesn't seem like anything on it would be particularly useful for him to me.[/quote]

[/quote] Then you go back to base to restore your mana and spend all your lovely new gold. :) I'm just saying, there's a reason why almost no one ever buys mana regen items, except for Doran's Ring. With a couple of notable exceptions most champions don't have any significant mana problems lategame and thus it all becomes wasted gold. Most champions are quite capable of managing in lane as well provided you have the opportunity to base or pick up blue every so often. Maybe it'll be good on, say, Anivia? I have no idea. Presumably Galio at least is going to like it.[/quote]
