Xin Zhao needs a lot of farming, which is why I like to include Wriggle's Lantern in my build. Allows him to easily recover in his lane, have nice armor and allows him to jungle, if your team doesn't have one, for extra gold and buffs.
Jet has been banned for trolling and blatant racism.
I plan on making a guide soon on playing Xin Zhao..But since that is going to take some time, ill try and explain the item build here, real quick..
There are generally 2 ways in which you can build Xin Zhao (in my eyes):
1) Tactical
2) Nuke
Tactical Xin uses the Utility Tree in order to have speed boosts and cooldown reduction (Do not get the last mastery in the utility tree, instead continue on the offense tree)
I build- Doran's Shield + Boots + SoTD + Youmuu + Rand/Banshee + Hexdrinker + Bloodthirster
Basically you want your auto-attacks to hurt, and be able to survive. The utility tree synchronises perfectly with these items, since you should not be the first person to engage but rather around the 2nd - 3rd, Make sure you move around alot.. Use your E to help slow down enemies, use that to your advantage by running away from their attacks and hunting for the squishiest, in which you can unleash all hell (Reduced Cooldowns + W = Lulspam).
Now nuke Xin is not as flexible (like yo momma.loljk) as Tactical Xin but packs a **** ton of damage. The secret to dealing heavy damage is to stack Crit. Yes, crit. Why crit you may ask? well you already have fast attack speed and your W just makes it faster, this increases the chances of you landing a crit, which takes out a chunk of the enemies health! Alot of people argue and say: lul get ArP. Sure... you can, but there isnt any items that is beneficial to Xin that will stack on with the ArP. Hence why I say: Crit ftw.
Build him like this: Brawler's Gloves- Boots - Zeal - B.F Sword - Infinity Edge - Phantom Dancer - Stark's (boosts his Attack speed and gives him more lifesteal) - Banshee's - Phantom Dancer Stack
Get standard Offense masteries and finish that up with some Utility for the EXP boost.

Ah, thanks for the well written advice. But I would take Trinity Force over Hexdrinker if they have less than 3 casters for the extra damage after dashing. Also, Xin Zhao isn't the fastest champion in the game. The extra movement speed and slow helps a lot. And little extra mana and health is not bad. But considering the price, I would get it only if I'm fed.
Yep Trinity Force is also completely viable! The main reason I choose hexdrinker is because its around 2000 gold cheaper, provides you with 35 Attack Damage and 30 Magic Resist. UNIQUE Passive: If you would take Magic Damage which would leave you at less than 30% of your Maximum Health, you first gain a shield which absorbs 300 Magic Damage for 4 seconds. 45 second cooldown.
The shield is not amazing but works very well with a banshee's and can save you from certain doom if you take rand. Plus 45 second CD is beautiful in a 30 minute (average) game.
Now regarding speed. The Utility tree has a talent which increases Xin's movement speed. Use and abuse this with your built in CC.

Oh, I see what you meant there. Just tried both of your suggestions, but I guess nuke is the right one for me. I went 13-2-9 with Tactical, and 16-1-12 with nuke. Thanks!
