They shouldn't increase the time you have to wait for queue dodging. I just got stuck with three trolls who all waited until time ran out to get stuck with random. Eve, Twitch and Lux. We had Brand and Soraka locked in already.

So I dodge, because I'm not going to waste 30-40 minutes just to lose.
Now I have to wait for 15 minutes.

****ing ********. They should ban the trolls, not me.

The wait time increases with consecutive dodges ^

While I agree that you can't just insta-lock when you go into a queue and expect others to play the stuff that you don't want to, where do you draw the line? If you always go into the queue and wait until everyone has picked in order to see what you need to play and it's never what you want to play, where's the fun in that?

I try to wait until most have picked in order to decide what would be best for the team, but sometimes I want to play what I want to play. So when do you decide whether to do what's best for you or what's best for the team?

It really depends on what you want to play. Some days you really want to play a certain champ because you haven't played them before/ want to try out a build/ want to get good at them etc. In any other case you really should just do what's good for the team comp, just find characters that you like in each role so you're not only more likely to have fun, but also more likely to win.

of course i know you can't just sit there and get 5 randoms. its just what i was hearing with the op.

to reiterate, i know trolls join solo queue and it sucks that you get stuck with them. but theres no real way to distinguish between dodging to avoid trolls or dodging because you get someone you don't want to play with on your team or dodging because someone instalocks the champ you want or a champ you hate.

@ theBMB

That's exactly what I was trying to say. Thank you for putting it in words that actually make sense! XD

@ caucheka

Not sure if you took it as such, but I wasn't attacking what you said. I agree with what you said. I was just throwing another perspective into the mix.

That's the risk of normal games, a lot of people play them to try stuff or improve, yet losing a normal is no harm expecially now that IP are awarded on game lengh and not win or lose.
If you really care so bad about having a good team in normal then you should consider the wait for a q dodge worth it.
