The statuette would've been made by a third party, just like the box probably was as well as the envelope and perhaps even the printing. Riot staffers would've only had to come up with the idea, contact the third party producers, wait for everything to arrive, put the boxes together, and ship them. The whole thing could've taken less than 24 total manhours for actual Riot employees. This is beside the fact that this would've been done by non-game-related Riot staff, such as their marketing department, which other people have already mentioned. Also, about the statuette itself, just because it has a brass finish isn't a good reason to assume it's brass. It's probably either plastic, which would be cheap, or pewter, which is the standard material for higher quality miniatures.[/quote]
