As a US player, do you think it there would be any benefit from switching and playing on the EU server?
Metagame/playstyles are different afterall. I'm looking to go 1500+ ELO on US (my high is 1474) so imo this is a valid question. =D

Group roaming fails if the other team has map awareness, they'll just avoid you

The only reason you should switch servers is if you have mates on the other servers or want a more interesting noob account

On the EU servers you are more likely to see less Tryhards until you get a high ELO in normal or ranked games and even then not as much :P

EU is more relaxed, the style of playing is very different. It would be a good experience if you want to get better at LoL. EU has been beating US pretty often lately. EU tactics ftw yo.

Haha, my team got raped by group roaming in my last game of the night last night. Wouldn't listen to my suggestion to ward with me. It didn't help that the team as a group (including myself since the one I was focusing wasn't what they were for some reason...). So if your team doesn't counter it, it works very well.

Disregarding the above, I'm just interested in seeing and learning different playstyles, it helps to understand and know them, so you know how to play against them.

Yep exactly, but the hardest part is accepting the fact that your gonna be level 1, and you gotta keep trying until your 30 to actually see the tactics that you want to see xD

@Dante uh oh, you hit 777 posts...
Haha, I bet with my experience it wouldn't take TOO long... That depends on how often servers are down, and I hear they down quite a bit. Also curious to see how bad my latency will be, If I learn to play with bad latency, it can only improve my gameplay with good latency... no?

EU Servers are never down lately, and it's never wrong to get another view of the game to improve one's gameplay. :3
