I haven't seen him in a game for a while now, he was ridiculously common around dreamhack time, but he seems to have fallen off the grid

NA can't play him (except for jiji). That's pretty much why. He's still banned/first-picked in EU i heard.

He is very strong but hard to learn, it takes some time until you get the flow on this very uniqe champion.
On EU, you only see him in Ranked Games and is banned there, no matter what ELO you are.

Imo he's not really hard to learn. His ult does take a good amount of skill though, but is extremely good if used well.

Comboed it with veigar and amumu in an ARAM game for 2 quadra kills :3 (damn you vlad)

lol he isn't hard AT ALL.

and a lot of people know how to play him...just he isn't too common.

Really? I see him all the time in ranked and he usually almost always does great because his laning phrase is ****in ******ed, beats almost any champion.

I don't see him a lot except watching EU players and even then he's somewhat rare. I've wanted to play him again after a long time but everytime I want to it seems I get to see 2 insta lock AP carrys and I gotta go ranged AD :/

how can you be bad with rumble though? you literally have to spam his abilities. Spamming abilities is something a noob is inherently good at. Of course, you have to spam with digression or you'll overheat, but still.
And ya his ult is probably the most challenging thing about him, but common sense should tell you to place it along their escape path.
