Man I also saw that
Riven cosplayer, that sword was fabulous!
Actually Sjokz and Krepo did a fanmeet after the show too, my friends went on pics with them but I was too lazy... stupid me!
I def enjoyed game 1, game 2 & 3 were boring :( You could tell from the audience, they got less and less loud as they day progressed. Imo today the crowd is way less loud than it was yesterday, pity.

Hi guys,
I went to the Semi-Finals at Brussels yesterday, and thought I'd share it with you. It's quite the experience, and I definitely encourage anyone living close enough to the event to buy some tickets when available. (Next season probably). Surrounded by friends you'll have a really good time over there.
Pre-Games
Oh yea, the sword she's holding was emitting light as well. Pretty impressive, got a pic of it somewhere.
There were also some Rioters walking about. They were handing out badges saying "Hello! My main is: X". We talked to one, resembling "Imaqtpie" suspiciously well. I also asked about Riot Singed, but he just smiled my question away. /ignore.
One more thing about these events are the merch stores. They seem to pop up about everywhere over there. Sadly, I feel like it's ridiculously overpriced. €30 for a pluche Poro? I mean, come on. They also had 0 Riven merch so I didn't really give a ****.
Anyone desperately wanting the

To the Arena
The insides of the building were pretty impressive. It looked like there was going to be a major boxing match. Definitely looked like an arena, and the first time that I saw this at worlds.
Players were facing eachother, and spectators were found round and round. I can only imagine the pressure they had to feel while playing.
Screens and lights everywhere.
This was definitely going to be something.
Game 1
The best game all day. Standard picks & bans. Faker will not be playing this one. Easyhoon takes Azir on mid.
OGN is definitely the favorite today. The main reason for that is that they're a EUW team. Aside from playing really good.
Everyone thought they were going to win the first game after a sneaky 20m Baron and a pretty huge gold lead. SKT was definitely not respecting their ealy Baron strat enough. A mistake they won't make again.
Having the upperhand and a major push advantage, OGN overextended for a greedy inhibitor. Giving up a kill and vision control. The game turned when SKT baited Baron, forced OGN to back and took the Baron anyway.
Having Azir to poke OGN away from their own turrets, they had no chance vs the buffed winions. After a messy fight SKT took the game.
OGN definitely could have played this one much better, but they didn't. They were however the first team to see an SKT inhibitor that closeby. GGWP.
Game 2
Standard Picks & Bans. This time Azir is banned away from Easyhoon though. He picks up Orianna, Xpeke takes Anivia. One major issue for OGN is Tahm Kench on Wolf, the SKT support.
As the game goes on , it's pretty much a stalemate until the 20 minute mark. 3-3. Tahm Kench already denied about 4 kills. After that, SKT just snowballed away. The game ends much sooner and OGN look like they can't match the level of their first game.
The crowd is still cheering for OGN like madmen.
Game 3
Faker's unleashed! After hoovering a full 30 seconds over Riven, he locks in Ryze at the very last second. My disappointment is undescribable.
Xpeke locked in Lulu vs Ryze.
This time SKT just facerolled over OGN. Any plays OGN makes are countered by SKT's rotations. Any mistakes are punished superhard. Faker takes on 1v1's around the map, permasnaring anyone on his way into oblivion. Flashing into them without hesitating. I think we'll be seeing a lot more Ryze in soloqueue now everyone figured out the permasnare.
This game is the shortest one, ending in a, kind of prophesied, 0-3 win for SKT.
The end
OGN definitely deserved a win for that first game, although SKT is the uncontested winner of the day. A 1-3 was going to be good enough for OGN, but sadly that didn't happen.
A fantastic experience, be sure to try and go as well next year, definitely worth it!
