Well, instead of assuming that every unranked person is a baddie at Bronze V, shouldn't they be allocated to an assumed "average"? Bronze I/Silver V would be more realistic than Bronze V.
You can guess, I mean it doesn't matter that much until we fix it, just either put Bronze V or try to be "accurate", since either is going to be inaccurate either way. In my opinion it would just seem less like you're trying to falsify information if you just default to the lowest rank instead of guessing at a higher one.

Seem less like falsification? Unranked =/= Bronze V. There are a lot of great players who are unranked and would easily win their qualification games into Gold V.
