So. Smartcasting is great if you're good at determine the range, right?
Im just curious. Why do so many ppl prefer smart casting? And telling other ppl to do the same?

I've used the the normal "click-to-use" way since I started at lvl 1. Would it maybe be too much of a change to start now?

It's just like AP vs AD builds, it's personal preference. That and a bit of people just not feeling like getting used to it. The only times I think I don't use smart casting are when it's a very short range ability like GP's parley and I want to be extra sure I don't sit there chasing them and have to waste time backing off. But even still I often end up smart casting his parley. :D
