When I play vayne, I try to have the battles in the jungle, because if one of the enemy team gets a little bit out of position, you can condemn them into a wall and have your team focus that champion. If it's a 1v1, a strategy that always works for me is to lure them into the jungle, and as you're going around a corner, turn around, use E, and pop your ult.
