i don't understand how people are confusing ekko for riven.

also if it weren't for the middle node for kat it would be a better fit for riven

TBH I also thought it was Riven when I saw the weapon preview. The most voted comment in the NA site being someone who got it wrong doesn't help either (typed Challenge and thought it was Riven). But yeah, "Freedom" and the "TIME to go" quote make it pretty clear.
