You should be able to, unless League of Legends is more cpu dependent, which I think it is.
Mine runs on max settings with a GTS 250 1GB

Does the detail of the game really matter? You should be playing a game because it plays good. Not because it looks pretty.

Of course it matters, graphics are better than gameplay.
Really? Would you play a really bad game if it looked amazing? Or would you dump it like you should?
I'm guessing you don't appreciate retro games. Most of those play amazingly, even with their flaws but they don't have pretty graphics.

That should run League of Legends on max settings at 30fps at least, if not 45-50.

Or you could have amazing gameplay and amazing graphics, like League of Legends.
I still play my nes games on the actual nes itself. Along with my n64/gb/genesis/dreamcast.

There is really no diffrence on max graphics and Medium... I wuld not rekomend it, those 50fps is not worth it...
But on the other hand you can be like me, play it on max, becouse it's ****ing max!
Oooor you could play it with a good GFX and max it without FPS drops! Happy owner of HD4870 and soon to be HD6870 ;P
