You're saying that more pixels increases the quality of the pixel? No. You're saying that more pixels increase the quality of the picture. What you're saying is not "Higher quantity of A increases the quality of A" but "Higher quantity of A increases the quality of B" which a totally different statement.
Quantity of A can mean quality of B. However, quantity of A cannot mean quality of A.
