Oh man I sure do love me some whiskey.
Oh wait, I'm not even 21 yet....
YOU. HEARD. NOTHING.
Honestly though I'm not sure that too many people on this site pay too much attention to this stuff, soooo, yeah.

Teamwork is essential. It gives the enemy someone else to shoot at.
While at it I'd like to brag a little. I got two 1 litre bottles of Laphroaig for 27 GPB each when I was at an airport in London.
That's half the usual price :D

So it'd be 54 GPB each normally?
I take it that's pretty expensive?

Bravery is being the only one who knows you're afraid.
Yup. It's even more in Sweden, about 65GPB in comparison I think. But then again; Sweden has ****ed up alcohol laws.
"I saw [Twilight: Eclipse] in theaters with a girl I was dating at the time. I spent more time staring at my toes and wiggling them than I did watching this abomination. When Edward proposed to Blank Face, I finally looked up with a revelation.
I blurted out loud, in a dead silent theater full of teenage girls on opening night "Wait a minute, Edward has no blood flow. How does he get an erection?" I heard several men laughing, and had several girls turn and stare at me.
I did not get laid that night." - Berengier817

I thought it would be funny to make a thread for all those whiskey lovers on the site.
Here you can recommend and rate whiskeys you've tried and just generally talk about whiskey.
If you rate a whiskey; also describe the taste a little if you can. Not everyone likes the same taste ofc.
Main distinction in taste is whether it's smoky or not. Everyone should be able to tell the difference between a smoky and a non-smoky whiskey.
I'd like there to be no "11/10" and stuff like that. Keep it withing the score limit.
Most ppl probably know about this already, but the 2 biggest things you can do to bring out the taste in a whiskey are (as far as I know) to pour a few drops of water into the glass and heat it a little.
You'll have to figure out methods of heating out yourself :P
Here are the whiskeys I've tried:
(been a while since I've drank a few of them so I can't quite remember the tastes)
Bowmore - A little smoky. Tastes kinda like Laphroaig, but milder and a lot less smoky.
8/10
Grant's - Not smoky at all. A taste of cherry.
7/10
The Famous Grouse - Kinda like Grants, but less cherry taste and a little more alcohol taste (if I remember correctly). It tastes better when you add a little water and heat.
5.5/10
Jamesson's - Bitter with a really bitter aftertaste, me no like >.>
3/10
Lagavoulin - Smoky. (can't remember)
8-9/10
Laphroaig Quarter Cask - Very smoky with a strong taste. Smells like tar with a tiny hint of vanilla. Very strong aroma. Strong on the alcohol(48%) part too. Drink a glass of this and you'll smell whiskey for hours ^_^
10/10
Laphroaig - Very smoky with strong taste. Kinda like a milder version of quarter cask.
9/10
Islay Mist - Smoky. Kinda like Laphroaig (contains a little Laphroaig), but less distinct taste(it's blended after all). Cheap good whiskey.
9/10
Laphroaig has apparently been named "the best scotch whisky in the world" by Whiskey magazine. Just found out when googling a little.
