Ashe is a utility carry just as Anivia is a utility mage.

She shouldn't have insane damage with her current skillset. Buffs were in the right place.

Maybe a tad more damage is required, but she shouldn't be able to outdamage any other AD carry because of her skillset.

Which is all well and good until you consider that almost every other AD carry in the game has some form of mobility or survivability, and in a game with a million blinks dashes and other gap closers, that sorta leaves glass cannon AD Ashe in the "****ed" category.

Support Ashe is useful because her items have tankiness, she's not a high priority target, and all her amazing utility is used to it's full gear independent potential.

Just my thoughts on Ashe.

I've never thought of Ashe as a weak Ad-carry. Just put her with a decent support who keeps the lane warded so she can farm properly and she will become a beast.
She has by far the best endgame of all Ad-carries because of her slow and ultimate.
With this buff she will probably have a slightly better lane phase and become a bit more popular for less skilled players.

Ashe is underrated!

Well, reporting back in after playing a handful of games with her (about a week late it seems).

While the buffs were nice, she still really struggles early game. I guess it is kind of silly to expect otherwise when she is matched up against carries like Vayne and Graves (I think I am always against Vayne for some reason).

I actually ended up mid one game and did much better than my usual duo bottom - partly because I was laning against literally the worst Vlad ever. I was getting assists basically every time my arrow was up as well because landing her ult on top / bottom / jungle from mid is a joke.

Ideally I want Riot to switch the passive on her E from the extra gold to some sort of damage steroid - Perhaps she could do 3% / 6% / 9% / 12% more damage to slowed targets? Something along those lines. I don't know how the exact numbers would play out, but tying it in to her Frost shot would match her kit well in my opinion.

Well it's true.. People who know how to play Ashe in team fights are gamebreakers.
Her ultimate is a good engage/counter engage, she has a AoE slow, and with good positioning she is able to tear the enemy team apart and they got no chance to flee..
Although i don't play Ashe, I still think she has the most impact of all AD carries in the end-game.

She can tear the enemy team apart, but as soon as someone realizes she exists she is basically dead. Virtually every other AD carry has more escape options than Ashe, especially if she has already burned her ultimate. The only other one more vulnerable that comes to mind is Kog...

She does all of that as a support. Your 4 team mates deal the damage.

If Ashe is a support, there's no reason to focus her, and if you don't focus her, she has some of the best team fight CC in the game.

She gets a free CV. She is fairly tanky from building a standard support gear line up...
