thornmail might not stop him but a jax dodge does. Yi is not the best 1 on 1 champ I think it would be either jax or someone like malzahar, assuming the malz is skilled ofc and not up against a gp.

My take on this would be basically almost any top lane bruiser ranging from nocturne with his healing passive, Tryndamere wit his crazy all in tactics and even singed if played correctly, riven with her shielding stun and insane damage. The list goes on:D

yeah well tryn is screwed if his opponent has ignite, he might get the kill but he will most likely die as well, noc well lifesteal wow ignite countered or greivous wounds riven only if fed she needs items late game, singed well BotRK health shred simple.

Btw, Poppy is also strong 1v1. Stun, 50% reduced damage taken from heavy blows, spammable high damage Q, high bonus armor + AD from W and an ultimate that allows you to towerdive and deal 40% more damage to your enemy.

Why actually nobody mentioned Wilding Claw Udyr by now? His only problem is mana. He has a shield and insane damage to win trades. And a stun.
He is gonna kill you!!!

again the jax issue a decent stun/OP dodge massive hybrid damage and a ton of resistances that scale with damage.
