Is frozen mallet good on a gangplank? ive been using it on my build because of the slow (i dont know if it stacks with his passive or not) and the added hp

normally i use critplank/AD Gangplank with frozen mallet in it and i do well but i want to know if there is a better item i should put there or not because i havnt seen it in any gangplank guide

I don't think Frozen Mallet is good on GP. I think it is better on champions that can deal consistent damage and make it an almost 'perma-slow'. (i.e. Teemo)

I agree. I also think that if you are looking for health Warmog's Armor is a must by on Gangplank.

GP already has his own slow with his innate, and Triforce is much much better due to the crit chance and the sheen proc on Parrrley.
Also, quoating from LoL wiki:
"If a champion is affected by multiple slows, the strongest one will be fully applied, while the others are applied sequentially with 65% reduced effectiveness down to 35% of its original strength."
So the efficiency of slows diminishes the more you stack them.

Many thanks to MissMaw, LaCorpse, Xiron, Arcana3 and Joxuu for making me sigs!

Atmogs does fairly well on GP because it makes him less squishy and gives that crit chance to go along with Parrrley.

i normally get atmas impaler to go with my build because of the armor

also another question

is it a good idea to get any AP items on critplank? so his oranges heal more and cannons deal more damage or just stick to the crit chance items and armor/hp?

Crit chance and armor / hp. STICK TO IT. AP CritPlank is terrible :P
I don't really see why you would consider AP just for the oranges :P
