A couple of Mres upgrades i think could be interesting additions to the game. Bear in mind, this is just wishfull thinking and numbers might not be balanced. Most will come from the lack of upgrades a certain tier2 item has (selling can be an option but that risks being wasted gold)



Daunting Sledgehammer
Recipe: Hexdrinker+ Emblem of Valor+1050g = 3050g
+35 AD
+38 Mres
+25 Armor
Unique Passive - Intimidation: Being damaged raises this unit's Mres and Armor by 3, stacking up to 5 times, except if it is true damage.
Unique Aura - Martyr: If you are dealt damage, you alies are healed for 5% of the damage dealt. Can only happen once each 10 seconds (900 range).

Cloak of the Forgotten Heretics
Recipe: Quicksilver Sash+ Giant's Belt+650g = 3200g
+400 HP
+45 Mres
Unique Passive - Retribution: Return 10% of damage taken while silenced, stunned, blinded, snared or surpressed.
Unique Active - Quicksilver: Relief yourself of any crowd control effects. (90s cooldown)

Kylix of Endless Paradise
Recipe: Chalice of Harmony+ Mana Manipulator+ Philosopher's Stone+445g = 2425g
+32 MRes
Unique Aura - Mana Font: Allied Champions gain mana regen equal to 9 plus 1% per each 1% of missing mana per 5 seconds.
Unique Aura - Paradise: Allied champions gain HP regen equal to 20% of their mana regen.

Claws of the Savage
Recipe: Madred's Razors+ Dagger+450g = 1550g
+25% AS
+28 Armor
UNIQUE Passive - Maim: Basic attacks against minions and monsters have a 25% chance to deal 500 bonus magic damage on hit.
UNIQUE Passive - Rend: Basic attacks deal 10 bonus true damage to monsters on hit.
Unique Active - Hunter: Jump to target neutral monster and steal 165+(lvl^2) hp from it (250range).

I absolutely love the first two. Third might be interesting, I don't think I would use it on any of my regular champs though. And I'm not good with the numbers in LoL, but I think some changes will have to be made on the fourth item, but what happened to the armor from Madred's Razors?

you are underestimating the supporting potential of the 3rd item (even though its limited to mana users) and you are quite right about madred's. fixing asap.

3rd item seems rather op, and weak at the same time :D
The mana regen too stronk, and a nice amount of MR. Of course, health regen is also nice.
But that's it. Early game it will really make you a winner, late game, not so much :P

1st one is okay, though it might be smart to pick either armor or MR, not both.
2nd item is mkay I guess. I like the fact that that would be a new MR health item, since we have too little of those. Still, the active that only applies when being CC'd well this is a tanky item, thus you probably will have 15% tenacity from the masteries and 35% tenacity from items, making the active rather minimal :P

4th item is just rediculous, the jump effect should definately be removed.

Even though I have lot's of criticisms about your second idea, I still like that one the most :D

jump range is double than melee and hp steal doesn't seem big of a deal any point in the game (regarding damage to bigger monsters)

so, i only build armor against jax, even if his W hurts like hell? I can change Emblem of Valor for Warden's Mail.
Saying i should only build one resist at a time is a flawed argument, to me. Also, there are only two end items that provide both, in case you need them.

Aye, if you are up to a strong APC and a strong ADC, or something hybrid :P, then this item would be nice indeed.

Nvm my argument, I was having some other things in my head :p
1st item is good aswell indeed, but situational :P
