Did the same yesterday. Enemy team was almost completely AP so I rushed a Wit's End, and ended up getting massively fed, it was pretty hilarious actually :D. I think it would work well on a balanced team comp too. Done early, that extra 42 magic damage hits for quite a bit when added to TTS. It also goes rather well with his ultimate. I'll test it out more later today.

After using it a bit, I think it's new passive could use a buff.
Needs to have a higher stack cap or stack greater chunks of MR. 20 MR isn't actually all that significant. If not buffing the passive, the AS could use a boost up.
It's not as useful as the old Wit's End, so it's not entirely viable as an item outside of AS specialized champions; there are always better choices for Ranged Carries who prefer Black Cleavers, Madred's Bloodrazors, Starker's Fervors, and Phantom Dancers.

removing the mana burn and giving it more mr and making it 200 cheaper isnt a buff?

Best part about the old wits end... was that if shaco used it..his clone+him will make people cry because they will loose mana effing fast.
I have yet to try the new wits end...tbh im a bit scared to try it, because it doesnt sound that great xD
