So we're supposed to give him bad advice because he's a bad player? O.o
"I saw [Twilight: Eclipse] in theaters with a girl I was dating at the time. I spent more time staring at my toes and wiggling them than I did watching this abomination. When Edward proposed to Blank Face, I finally looked up with a revelation.
I blurted out loud, in a dead silent theater full of teenage girls on opening night "Wait a minute, Edward has no blood flow. How does he get an erection?" I heard several men laughing, and had several girls turn and stare at me.
I did not get laid that night." - Berengier817

For the record:
I'm not bad. Not that I'm fantastic.
But I'm not ADing mid against a brand.
I'm going bot lane with a traditional AD/support vs. a AD/Support (generally).
I try and pick my AD to counter the other AD.
I'm not a terribad.
But there are games where I find myself decently fed, and I go untargetted in teamfights and teams don't build armor (outside the tank).
The focus of my question is what is the pure glasscannon build.
The answer seems to be:
zerks
IE
PD
PD
negatrons (QS/BV)
lifesteal (BT)
To quote DoooOOOooom's math:
IE/PD/PD
base damage 110
IE adds 80
base attack speed .65 + 50%
+110% from two dancers.
Crit chance: 2% from masteries, 25% from IE, 60% from dancers.
Crit damage bonus: 100% base 10% from masteries, 50% from ie.
(110+80)*(.65 * (1 + .5 + 1.1) ) * (1 + (.6 + .25 + .02)*1.6)) =
(190)*(.65*2.6)*(1+.87*1.6) = 768 dps (not factoring in armor)
IE/PD/BT
Base damagae 110
IE adds 80
Bloodthirster adds at most 100 damage
Base attack speed .65 + 50%
+55% from dancers
Crit chance: 2% + 25% + 30%
Crit damage bonus: 100% base 10% from masteries, 50% from ie:
(110+80+100)*(.65*(1 + .55 + .5))*(1 + (.3 + .25 + .2)*1.6)=
290*.65*2.05*(1+.57*1.6)= 739 dps (also not factoring in armor)
IE/PD/BC
110 + 80 + 55 attack damage
.65 + 50% (base) + 30% + 55% attack speed
2% + 25% + 30% crit
160% crit bonus
(245ad)*(.65*(2.35)speed)*(1+(.57*1.6)crit) = 715.5 dps not factoring in the armor penetration proc.
assume the target has 150 armor... shaving off 15 will increase your damage by *250/235... so 761.2 DPS... although keep in mind that the dps you actually do is actually the average of the first and 2nd hit, so you do 738.4 DPS if you hit twice.
with 30 armor shaved off, you do 813.06 dps, or 763.25 dps over the three hits, still slightly less dps than a 2nd dancer would give.
tl;dr: for black cleaver to be better than a 2nd phantom dancers vs a target with 150 armor, you'd need to hit that same target at least 4 times.
