OK well what about building him as an AP bruiser so his damage is actually impactful? Obviously im going to have to see what his ratios are but as long as they are over like .4 a, Rylais, Abyssal, THEN visage, warmogs and, say, zhonyas and merc treads sounds like it would be a decent build. Visage earlier ofc.

No, his ap ratio's aren't high enough, and he already has % damage so why bother? He already does a lot as a support tank. And if you insist on ap zac, I don't see how it would be better than ap maokai.
I feel like the only AP I will ever build on him will be Abyssal Mask and Liandry's Torment, only for the Mpen. Building any other amount seems unconventional for a character that is clearly a tank.

40% cd for sure, and I would build iron locket of solari. Sunfire cape, spirit's visage, I dunno. I mean he has enough utility to be built pure support tank, and his w requires him to be in the center of fights, which kind of suggests he needs to be built full tank or close to that.

His passive actually sucks in the jungle. Makes him move around and take more damage. His speed sucks too, but that's because his W is currently glitched and not doing the %health damage correctly.
Once he's less bugged out I can make a more accurate assumption of items, but when I played him I did Sunfire/Spirit visage, Mercs, Randuins and Warmogs
Final item on that build probably woulda been abyssal or liandrys for damages.
