    Support starter items

Alright so with the Crystalline Flask 'nerfs', do you still start it on support? Oooor do you start 4 wards + 6 potions ooooooor back to the faerie start? I'd personally just go wards + potions now, but iunno

4 wards + 6 pots is pretty good.

Starting 4 Sight Wards is very useful right now. If you have 21GP10 (quints+mastery), then you can generate enough gold for Sightstone by like 7 minutes. So with 4 wards, you can effectively ward two spots the entire time while you passively generate Sightstone gold.

Going Sightstone plus Faerie Charm means you can only buy one potion. That's a bit weak. The popular supports right now are like... Taric (burst/kill), Lulu (poke), and Sona (poke).

I've been doing 4 wards 6 pots about half the time. Faerie + 4 wards + pot or rejuv + 4 wards + pot seem okay too.

Personally I prefer starting with both components of the philosophers stone(Faerie Charm and rejuvenation Bead) + 2 wards, this allows me to have enough gold for Philosophers Stone and the ward by the time that the wards finish, it also depends on the matchup and enemy jungler since its better to start with more wards against champions like Blitzcrank.

the wards are great late game as well so you need to get the sightstone that helps because its cheap for what it does

On supports like sona, or Janna, Faerie Charm, a few wards, and mana potions.

On aggressive supports, boots, 1 ward, 1 pot

[*] Faerie Charm along with two wards and two health pots and a mana pot is what I usually go.
However, I usually play tanky supports like Leona/Taric/Ali/etc. So my starter items can change quite often..it usually depends on the opponents I'll be facing. Like many starters though, there is no 100% correct way..which is a plus about the game.

I think Faerie Charm is probably one of the better starts right now. The 4 wards 6 potions start is viable, I just don't feel like I need to use it unless I'm against a poke lane.
