What champions are good to play against Ad casters mid

I've started to play mid a lot more, and i've been seeing a lot of ad casters, Talon, kha etc. Who should i play to counter them if i see them? So far the only champion that comes to mind is Malphite, and any time i chose him i get **** from my teammates, despite 90% of my games resulting in either a win, or a loss due to some other problem ((afk, lane fed etc etc)). Do anyone else have any suggestions?

This might sound unconventional, but I feel that rumble can actually do a good job. Most people would know rumble as the ultimate melee bully, and as almost all of the casters are melee, you just press q when they want to go in and profit. If they silence you they still can't stop q. But malphite is indeed a solid pick. You don't have to listen to teammates when you make decisions.

Yea i know, i don't let what they saw change my idea. I love malphite mid. As i said in my first post, he pretty much counters ad casters and this also allows me to build him how he works best(( ap off tank)) but even against ap caster i do well. 10 second cooldown hp pot, decent damage poke and once i hit 6 i can say 'you die now' to almost every champ.
