League of Legends (LoL) Question: How to stick to someone while using Riven's Passive?

How to stick to someone while using Riven's Passive?

Say I use the first attack of Broken Wings. Is it worth it to use her passive to deal extra damage or would that create too much distance between me and the other person?
I saw something where a Riven main said that Q - AA type combos are very impractical. (obviously unless they're standing still by cc or other reasons)

Lastly, any way to speed up this combo/ other suggested ways to engage/ ways to stick to the enemy using her kit?

    edit: title didnt feel right
Are passive enhanced Riven combos worth it?

Don't wait for the AA animation to finish, just Q again right as your AA actually deals damage. Never had trouble sticking to people when weaving autos between skills. If they have higher MS due to being up in boots or having phage just use W/Q3 and close the gap. You shouldn't lose more than one or two autos even in the worst case.

As a riven jungler (which how most of my queues end up) I usually q two times to shorten distance then E+AA+Q Attack W. I mean, If an enemy saw you using wings, They'd back away or duel right? So I say use all your skills to gain max charge without wasting one charge. If sticking is your problem, You have a bunch of choices: cutlass,Youmus, omen, exhaust(?),flash(?),Mallet, red buff, and more.. i think.

`... It's a combo that maximizes damage output. Why in the world would you not use it?
Since you edited the question: Your Q scales more distance than the enemy walks. If the enemy flashes or uses a blink, you can use your other Q's or E to scale distance.
