Assassin Mid good right now?

Ok, so I've seen a lot of AD Assassins wrecking games since S3 hit, even after the nerf to the league of Black CLeavers.

My question is, how well do , and fare at mid now? Better, worse, or about the same as S2?

They are still strong choices. They are slightly worse with the nerf. , and are also very viable in the middle lane even though they aren't necessarily assassins.

Back to assassins... they aren't very easily countered however, I've seen many wrecked by AP mid due to his .

Other reason why AD Assassins seem so strong is due to the fact that some people don't have the caster runes with armor seals.

, , and are probably your best bet against AD casters.

performs quite well versus most of the assassins. Similarly, AP can out sustain to a certain point in the game.

Some people just try to out push them with a pick like , or , and then they roam around the map.

Would you say many mages can still make their lives hell before a certain level? IE: generally gets butchered before level 3.

Assassins everywhere is the thing now.

Also mid lane is still incredibly freaking awesome, why do people not realise this?

I don't know but I feel that and have much higher burst then . However, can farm from quite the distance with his shadow and shuriken.

Panth isn't a bruiser.
Zed is ridiculously strong in mid-lane. Kha'Zix is overpowered as **** atm. Talon works but he definitely has his counters and he lacks escapes till 6.

My question is specifically about , , and though, as they are the only "true AD assassins" in my eyes. feels more like a bruiser, and is a mage to me.

I've gone Talon mid in my level 30 games (not ranked) and come out on top quite frequently. Most APs are squishy as hell. As Talon I always have trouble at level 1-3. At 4-5 it gradually picks up, and by 6 I can burst most people down quite easily. Early game sucks for me because rake does very small damage, but when you have all 3 moves and a level 2-3 rake, most mids will keep their range.

The defeat was one where I had to go after slapping mid a couple times :(

I am sure it's different for ranked games, though.

vs ... depends on skill, allot of times when playing Talon I can easily kill a mid Diana and when I'm playing Diana I can also get Talon, but if you are un aware you are f***ed
