League of Legends (LoL) Question: Current State of Jax

    Current State of Jax

I've played Jax for years now since I attended PAX East in 2010 and received the PAX skin. I consider him by far my strongest and best champion and I was really excited when I started to see him on the professional scene in Season 2.

As of Season 3 I feel as though I'm the only Jax player anymore and I'm curious as to why he's fallen out of favor with both the pros and the general community. What are your thoughts on Jax right now, and do you believe he'll be picked back up by either professional players or the community?

Jax is still very strong, especially with the new Blade of the Ruined King. No idea why people don't play him, since he didn't really change at all between the last time he was first-picked every game by Asians and today.

Actually, Blade of the ruined king is not that good on jax, but there is just so much many possibility to how to play him and what to maximize.

Yeah. BOTRK helped Jax a lot. His main problem is being able to farm up as he generally has a bit of issues early on. He has seen competitive play though.

One thing wich is nice with Jax now, it's the versatility of his build. Against heavy AP team, play AP jax for benefits Magic resist drom his ult. Against heavy AD team, play AD jax for benefits Armor from his ult. AD and AP team? Play Hybrid!

Yea, he's versatile. That's what makes him awesome. But that's something many people forget.

Maybe it is just your imagination. If you play an certain champion a lot it seems like no one would play him, but this is not true. Many of my friends are playing Jax so I cant agree and even if you are the only one who plays him it that doesn´t matter. Kick their azzes so hard that they start to fear Jax again^^

I feel like noone else plays Jarvan IV... maybe becouse i 1st pick him in ranked?

Actually there are a few Jaxs around, but yea less than it used to be. I see a lot of Ryze, Xin Zhao, Renekton, Thresh and Vayne lately.

Lol i played A LOT OF j4 first at jungle then at mid for a period of time at ranked and there was not a single time I didnt go 5/0 at the mid lane.

I love to get fed as a jax because you can 1v1 ANYONE and even go go1v2 sometimes.. I dont feel like jax is underplayed.
