How do you even build Shaco nowadays?

Since he got some new AP scalings added to his abilities, it kinda got me clueless. Do you still build him AD, or AP, or even a mix of both?

AD is still good. Warrior, tiamat, IE, Tri Force and Duskblade. IE is a priority now due to Shaco having more innate crit in his kit. In fact, Shiv might be better than duskblade.

well, Mortal Reminder doesnt cleave through levelup armor,m as it count as base armor. you are better of with either more ad (simple bloodthirster) or a gunblade for the burst active and very nice stats

This, and then you sell your jungle item for either mortal reminder (if enemy adc/apc have relevant armor) so as to mitigate their healing potential or ghostblade to poop on whatever leftover armor they got due to leveling up (or the new item that gives a spellshield when you activate it).

With this build you can nuke squishies before they even realize it's happening. The problem starts when guardian angels get bought.

Yeah with a build that expensive, Duskblade probably isn't worth it. Even with a potential extra proc from Q, you might as well put that gold towards your more expensive items.

Actually, Duskblade isn't that good. IE, Tri Force and Statik are the Core (+ravenous hydra).

well ad doesnt enhance teh sheen proc, only base ad does, so steraks gage is the only item enhacing a sheen proc.

I forgot to add Trinity Force. The Sheen proc is good IF you have a GOOD amount of AD. Build AD first before Tri-force.

I usually go Shaco support. I go spellthiefs and then I go Lich bane. Usually with a sheen you can 1v1 the enemy adc if positioned well. Then I just try to finish off with some more ap and then maybe a zz rot.
