Infinity Edge on Vayne

Recently I decided to practice some 1v1's with someone else, we went to a custom game, he picked Draven and I picked Vayne, but I decided to have some fun and max tumble and rush IE, and having the IE really helped trading and csing under tower, and seemed to really give me some early power, but would this be a good option in a regular game against a hard match-up like Draven or Caitlyn, rather than maxing w and going botrk?

I've seen doublelift build Blood thirstier on vayne when facing champions like that. Vayne is reliant on trading and attempting to snowball. It is easier to rinse and repeat if you can get your hp back fast. Personally IE doesn't give you sustain. I would go BT and attack speed runes and masteries to win trades early.

The reason people build BORK first is because it is much cheaper and gives you the same amount of damage, and utility with the active. You get IE wayyyyyyy later on vayne and can't do much to capitalise on the power spike vs running at them and cutless / borking them.

In my opinion, going for BOTRK,Phantom Dancer, and IE is only the possible way with a matchup like Draven. Draven will out trade you very much, to the point that 2 hits from his Spinning Axe will chunk your health to half when he gets his items. Well, if you were in the lead, you can get either of them or go for the common build path. It's personal preference.

i would say that its personal preference. rushing IE might be better if they don't have many tanks.

i will answer your question because vayne is my main adc

infinty is good but vayne need Attack Speed + Damage + some lifesteal so if you wanna get the infinity so you will delete an item
