    Out of meta supports?

Hi, im interesting in playing supports and im wondering what kind of supports who arent in the meta right now, are slightly viable? Ive seen support malphites, ashes, gnars and a few other fun ones which i may want to try. Are there any you happen to know of?

    Try out Support yasu.

You can use your q to get stacks to harrass with the tornado

You can use your q to proc relic

You can build a shiv and get the gold/10

Build him semi tanky early game and late game go damage

His windwall and a well placed ult can be enough diruption in some cases to fill the support role for peeling and initiation. And than late game you have yasu

I love playing these off-meta supports. My personal favorites are Velkoz, Lux, and Nidalee...I know velkoz isn't really "breaking the meta" but it certainly isn't a common pick

Is Lux off-meta? Because she provides CC (slow & snare), shield, and a passive that makes you peel for your carry. I think she is a poke-oriented support that deals TONS OF DAMAGE.

I think any champion that is ranged or semi-ranged and have some type of CC works for the support role. Some are harder to play support as than others.

I've done some Gragas and Sion games in support role, they're pretty fun to play and I don't consider them to be completely useless either in that role.

Rengar, Lee, Jarvan can all work pretty well, specially against less experienced players who position poorly.
There was also a Brand support fad but eh

I used to do Gragas a ton when he became a great top laner. that **** was hilariously fun and worked decently well. No idea how he is now though
