Which one is better? Xin AP or Xin AD

Can anybody tell me what is the best?

AD.

AP is for fun, but AD is the one you play if you're playing to optimise.

Depends, if you wanna go full Rito 420 blaze it, then AP Xin. If you wanna go manly and sing along to jaunty Mulan tunes, AD Xin. If you want to be successful in the current meta game of League of Legends, neither.

Consider the following hilarious, sort-of relevant, gif a bonus:

Xin's actually a top tier jungler right now. Idk how the Season 6 changes affect him, but up till now he's been strong for a couple months.

it all depends on mechanics and build health ad assassin xin can own full tank xin and ap xin every time if in the hands of 2 equally skilled opponents

he can burst ap xin in mear seconds
and can outsustain full tank xin with a bortk replacement for his youmuus

ad xin is far superior to ap xin because his kit goes hand in hand with ad and has very little ap scaling this is coming from a guy whos played over 1500 games and has played him in literly almost every conceivable way you can play him

The only time AP Xin is superior to AD is URF mode. Other than that, AP Xin is a bit trollish.. but fun.

Went 25/7/9 as an AD jungle with:

Trinity Force
Berserker's Greaves
Frozen Heart
Blood Thirster
And Warmog's Armor

Total of %600 health regen.

Xin can be built as many ways as Kayle can (almost), but the most viable is similar to a Juggernaut build.
Still pending for test, but right now it looks like this:

It's a very well-rounded build that gives you more than enough damage to easily burst squishies, enough CDR and movement speed to stick to and lock down your targets, and enough defense to survive a teamfight.

A Mix of both is extremly strong.

I did win many games with this build
Berserk Boots > Hydra > Trinity > Phantom > Infintiy > Zhonyas
because of the 100 ap of zhonyas you got much stronger heal aswell with your W and lifesteal
but the most important part is
Xin Zhao is one of fastest who can destroy tower.
Now the funny part.
You can just destroy towers without any minions because of the stronger heal from zhonyas.

It´s really funny and extremly strong and btw. it´s perfect against a Tryndamere or Kayle because you kill them in about 0.5 sec before they even proc their ult

I have tried him with zhonya I like the armor and freeze ability. If I were to use him I like that I would go 1/3 ap
and 2/3 ad since it goes with his ad and ap ratio equally)
if I were to use ap in a build with xin top or mid
I would use these items

1.ravious hydra
2.zhonya
3.trinity force
4.infinitys edge
5.black cleaver
6.crystal scepter/or frozen mallet

this would fit evenly with his ad/ap ratio
like I said before I have played him in almost every way conceivable this would be the most viable hybrid build that I kno0w with the items I last played with but I havnt played in 3 1/2 moths so they might have more items :/
