"The entire idea of listing out pros and cons in a list is like rage worthy. Doing it GMD's style where instead of just listing pros/con, they're actually explained and the bullet points are used more like "keywords" is way more effective."

"Ctrl+u in CS6 (what I use) changes the image info for the layer only (meaning you'd need to duplicate your image before adjusting it) rather than creating a whole adjustment layer.
(I don't know the technical terms for any of this.)"
