I just watched the newest Naruto Shippudden movie Road to Ninja and it was awesome in my opinion.
Animation - Great
Fights - Great
Touchy Moments - Amazing
Funny Moments - Amazing
Music - Amazing
9/10 from me only because there were some inconsistencies but the movie was freaking awesome! If you wanna watch it here's a link (English Subs, Korean Audio. Japanese Audio will be available on April 20)

Blech, Naruto movies have been some kind of disappointment to me so far.
For example, in one of them Naruto is supposed to die but he doesn't and it's quite stupid.
I'm generally not a fan of manga movies and tend to prefer the 20 minute series.
I really like Naruto, but I'm not a fan of the movies.
Then again, the movie you watched might be better so I guess I should still give it a chance.
The one you're talking about is Naruto Shippuuden Movie 1. Of course Naruto isn't gonna die. What would be the point of the movie if the main character dies?
