I'd like to talk about how I've developed as a League player over the past years and a little bit about how much League has changed. If you don't like reading that's okay but if you've been playing this game for a long time now and you've seen how it has evolved then feel free to discuss this with me in the comments. Oh and also feel free to tell me about your history in League as well. I will read it for sure!
So..I remember back when I first started League back in early 2010 which was in Season 1 I believe..not sure but I have a friend that played in Season 1 and I registered around the time when he started playing ranked for the first time. Anyways back then when I registered I was obviously a noob so I played every champion I could play during free weeks.
I did play Master Yi a lot. I remember stacking Phantom Dancers on him (boy was I lame back then xD). During Season 1 pretty much all I did was play normal games with friends trying to level up to 30. At the start of Season 2 I hit lvl 30 and at that time the new school year was starting for me. I remember that I saw Riven's Champion Spotlight and immediately fell in love with her. I was like "OH MY GOD..I MUST GET THIS CHAMPION..SHE LOOKS SO COOL AND BADASS".
After I saved IP and bought Riven I played her a little bit and I decided to play Ranked. At first I was winning most of my matches and I hit about 1290 ELO. Then suddenly I started losing and fell at the 1100-1200 range. I was stuck there for pretty much the whole season. I actually didn't play Singed back then. I used to play Lee Sin a lot. I got my first Quadra in Ranked with him.
I wouldn't say I was a bad played back in Season 2 but I definitely wasn't anything special. Not to say that I am special right now but I've improved a lot since Season 2. I cs a lot better when I try hard, I'm better with skillshots and I'm a bit better at dealing with ragers/flamers. I'm also a much better leader now. In Season 2 I tried being a leader and I tried making the calls for my team but most of the time the calls I made were bad. At the moment I'm not a super awesome leader but I'm definitely better at making calls for my team (that is of course if my team decides to listen)
So yeah over the years I've improved A LOT as a player. I still have time to improve even more but only time itself will tell if I will improve.
About League as a game..it has changed so much..to all of you newer players out there..you have no idea how different the game was back then. I can't describe it but compare the modern day League of Legends to the League of Legends in this video (skip the first 1-2 minutes):

Yeah..I sometimes wish that the old League of Legends would come back but alas that's almost impossible.

Only thing I seriously wanted to leave was Locket, holy **** that was op. Dodge was fine in comparison.
