Got denied my first Penta Kill twice in 1 game. First time Shen escapes on purpose just so I won't get the Penta. Second one MF tried to give it to me by rushing me (cause I was fed and it was obvious I'd kill her) but she didn't make it in time and it was unofficial.
2 denies..no comment on this ****..this proves how cursed I am at never making a Penta.

Some people take normals as seriously as ranked. I know I always played to win before I started playing ranked. For some people, that's the only place they tryhard. You can't assume everyone in a normal game is going to be all easy going and throw a chance at a comeback.
Also (in your hopeless-defense example), the point of attempting to deny an enemy pentakill is to make them earn it. If you can't kill all 5 members of the enemy team, you didn't earn it. No point in calling someone an ******* just because you couldn't kill them. Play better and get all 5 kills or accept the fact that a pentakill is a rare occurrence often caused by enemy stupidity rather than an individual player's skill.
On a related note, let's all watch PhantomLord's experience on the subject:
I've watched that video and the same thing that happened to Phantom has happened to me countless times. Take him for example? Why would he need to play better? He already played really good in that video and he earned the Penta in my opinion. That Nunu was just a scumbag that's all. Like I said same thing has happened to me. I'd understand if the 5th guy is someone who isn't super fast and is trying to let's say kite me and deny me the Penta but if it was someone like that Nunu that is just faster and runs away just to piss me off (which was probably the case with Phantom cause at his ELO most of them know each other) and deny me the Penta..I'm not gonna rage hard but he deserves to be called a scumbag for that.
And about Normals they are Normals. They're not ranked. That's why they are called "Normal" games and not "Ranked" games. Normal games are where you play casually and for fun and ranked is where you're competitive and try your absolute best to win the game. But alas it's the other way around these days. People play troll and throw games a lot in ranked and they try-hard in normals.

I had 3 penta's in my LoL career, and no, they were not against bots :P
Thank the lord for that!
I've never gotten a penta and I don't agree. If a carry is slaughtering my entire team and is about to kill me too, I'm not going to just run into him and die to be a nice guy. I'm going to survive so I can try and defend my base. I would be angry if someone on my team intentionally fed the guy so he could get a penta, especially if it was ranked. That's technically against the Summoner's Code and is reportable.
As much as I'm annoyed when my teammates steal a penta, there's still no rule that they have to let me get the last kill. I'd rather have the fifth kill secured so we can win the game or take baron or something rather than leave it to chance.
True but I see no reason to not give someone a Penta if it's obvious that he can get it especially if it's a normal game. In ranked of course not. I wouldn't do that either despite how much of a jerk I might look like because..well it's ranked and ranked is where you play to win and play at your absolute best. However in normal games if the guy that is about to make it is already fed and can clearly make it I don't see a reason to try super hard to get away and not give it to him. If you do that it's like you're saying "Ha!! No penta for you!! Take That!!"
I get what you mean but imagine you're in a game where your team is losing by a lot and the super fed guy on the enemy team makes a Quadra Kill and you're the only one left. You already have your inhibitors destroyed and your base is getting ****ped on. Taking that into consideration don't you think it would be kind of a jerk move to run away and deny the guy his Penta on purpose. Maybe he's made a Penta already but for all we know he could be like me and you and is yet to make his first Penta Kill.
Then you got the point of the game wrong. I recently had a quadra with MF, the enemy Urgot ran to the pool to heal so I wouldn't get the penta. Guess what, his own teammates started flaming him for denying me the pentakill. And guess what, I took his side, because when I get my first penta, I want to earn it 100%, I don't want it to be given to me or I would never feel like it is legit (And it wouldn't be anyways). Don't forget that letting someone kill you on purpose is called intentional feeding and is against the summoner's code. Stop crying and earn it regularly instead of calling everyone else an ******* for your own failure.
I have earned it countless times already. If you were me you'd understand how frustrating it is not to get one because of stupid reasons like the fifth guy being killed by a teammate (Malphite has stolen one from me) or fifth doing his best not to give it to me which is kinda ok cause yes there is no rule that states he should give it to me but still..and I'm not calling anyone specific an *******. Don't try to make it look like I am.
Again you're not me so you don't understand how frustrating it is to play this game for so long and never make 1 penta kill.

My life > enemy penta.
Call me a jerk, but I like living <3 :D

I am sure you have some penta's aswell some day :D
I have never made a single Penta Kill from the moment I've played League up until now. I've been playing for 3 years and have never made one. To me anyone that doesn't give you a Penta is an ******* if you did deserve it. Anyone who still hasn't made a Penta will agree with me.

Wat. Of course he ran, son :D Whenever I'm the last and I survive I just say "EARN IT BETCH" in /all chat, unless I'm feeling awkwardly nice.
Search who's the champ with the most pentas and practice. I got a penta with
Earn it? He just ran away simply because he knew I was gonna get the Penta. I already earned it. The fact that he ran away just so I won't get it shows that he's an *******. Seriously if you do that to people in-game don't cause it's super rude to them and people might even call you an *******. If the guy who is gonna get it isn't however super fed and is actually on low hp but still tries to get it then yes he does need to earn it by outplaying and killing you.
