"AP Kog'Maw is fine and completely different
AD Kog'Maw works because his Q gives him Attack Speed and Armor Pen
His W gives him incredibly high range which is very powerful on an AD Carry. The bonus damage is just on top
His E is just a slow that helps him to get away from Assassins/Tanky DPS. "
