The Rod of ages is far too expensive as a first item, so I like going doran's ring,regrowth pendant,faerie charm, boots of speed and a needlessly large rod. The eztra armor protects me from auto attacks, the health makes me bulkier, and the health regen keeps me in the lane longer. It mostly fits my play style since dorna's blade only gives 3% leech, which is only around 2 heal"
