Ban&Pick
I was slot 2 and got my jungle/tank role with
Nautilus. The pick chat was constructive and Dwith a little struggle about the mid lane. The rest of my team was
Darius,
Ziggs,
Jinx and a supporting
Annie. Our opponent chose
Nidalee,
Xin Zhao,
LeBlanc,
Vayne and
Thresh.
Early Game
Darius helped me but took some xp from my first Gromp kill. I had to take the blue buff with level 1 but it worked and i could do the wolves. The top and mid lane hat a bad start and got killed early. They got more and more behind but also tried to push hard, so I could not position to gank.
At 14 minutes we were 7 kills and 3,7k gold behind and frustration was readable in the chat. I got flamed to have zero kills. But how should I kill someone, when there is not approriate situationd.
Mid Game
It was getting worse. Many teammates tried to save the day alone and died. We got pushed into out base but could defend all inhibitor towers. At last I got my core item set togeher and was really tanky.
Late Game
From now on it went upwards. We had some fights were I could go in, CC the enemy and all others smashed them down. After such a fight we were able to get at least one objective.
Darius could also scale up his tankyness and the opponent had nothig to put against us.
Debriefing
- my new build is working
- I must find a way to get more gold. The opponents jungler Xin Zhao had much more gold (he had 15 kills)
- How can the team prepare ganks better ?
Victory #8
Score 3/13/32 (65/69/132) (4%,18%,24%)
Damage taken: 54k (27%)
Status: Bronze V - Position 9(+7) / 58(+16)

About the only thing you can do in that situation is to warn your laners that Xin is a powerful early ganker and as such they may want to play somewhat safe/passive in regards to overextending. If Xin doesn't snowball he is not nearly as useful as you late game.
Your team may moan about you not ganking, but if they are pushed to the enemy turret, low health, or dead there isn't much you can do about it. The wards I mentioned above will give you an idea if counterganking is an option, but if Xin is far enough ahead and you don't have armor yet, then counter ganking may not be the best option. If you can't get to a lane in time for a counter gank then use your mobility and your wards to counter jungle for the extra cash and to deny the other team the jungle farm.
Oh, it is hard for mid and top to ward all the potentially entries to their lanes since they don't have a support so using some of your wards to make them safer can pay dividends.
In regards to preparing ganks, yeah this is really hard in solo queue. Most people don't know their champions power spikes at Bronze/Silver or how to set up a good situation for a gank (like your top laner freezing the minion wave just outside of their own turret's range) to keep the enemy top laner overextended.
I don't have a foolproof formula for success with this myself. The main thing I do is try to find lanes that are overextended, wait a little off screen/what is hopefully out of view, and then ping the enemy laner. Then wait until either one of two things happens
1) my laner CCs or goes aggressive on the enemy laner
2) the enemy later goes aggressive on my laner or uses a key cooldown like Zed using
Patience is the hardest part, especially when you've got some lanes that are struggling as you likely feel that you need to be everywhere at once (well at least that is how I feel XD).
