What I do with Nunu (and Yi, actually), is whenm I'm not jungling, run to their wraiths and Consume (Alpha Strike) their blue. Blue wraith gives you almost 50% of a level alone, and Master Yi can potentially kill all four Wraiths with one"

Early game you can stand under their tower and charge your ult, ensuring plenty of tower damage and possibly a kill.
Mid/Late game you can set it up in bushes, catch running enemies, etc. It's really a great skill for AP Nunu, especially with Morgana backup or BV.
