Personally i love 1v2 lanes. simply for the fact that i dont have a team mate that needs help all the time.
also another good 1v2 champ (at least in my experience) is Rumble.
although i just got skarner and he looks like he might be strong in a 1v2 situation.

and if your careful teemo can be good 1v2. provided you can figure the best spots for Shrooms.
and But wards, seems like most people dont buy wards anyway but even more so as Teemo, since his ult acts like ward. only problem there is the fact that 1. the sight range is low 2.when people step on them they explode and disappear, which is what they are supposed to do. 3. cant detect stealthed enemy champions.

ive 1v2 ,as teemo, against an akali and another champ i cant remember. akali liked to use her Smoke bomb at the edge of the grass. so i got a Pink ward and put it in the grass as well as Shroomed it.
rather funny when u kill someone when they think u cant see them.

And....
i think i got off topic there a bit.....
Sorry...lol

but yes 1v2 lanes are very common even in ranked games...well low elo ones.

Most situations when the 1v2 lane horrifyingly fails is contributed by 2 reasons

1) Your jungler loves the jungle too much to leave it
2) You seriously cannot take the lane well, no matter how good you try to be

I remember some cases when I 1v2ed, but was losing (Mostly Vlad, cause he pwnz :)). The really annoying thing is, many junglers feel the need to jungle to level 18. For some weird reasons, I never seen some junglers actually gank before level 8... And even then it ends in fails.

Hope whatever I say helps! :D

PS : Not all my criticism is good. Most of the time, I just talk like that anyway. So forgive me if you get offended, unless you just can't look from my angle, or at least close enough.

if you've never seen a jungler gank before level 8, i'm deeply sorry for you, level 8 is past the point of ganks being super useful

I've seen a lot of ganks before lvl 8 -.- The problem is there are almost equal amount of junglers who gank after level 8

AP Master Yi is amazing in a 2v1 lane.
Just max Q and W, ignore E.

I've also soloed vs 2 with Jarvan quite some times and doing quite good. His E-Q-W combo is good at stopping enemies from pushing your turret. Furthermore they are afraid to towerdive you when you have Cataclysm. If you start with Regrowth Pendant he also has some nice sustain and he is really strong at gap-closing when the jungler ganks.

Also, Nunu. Great choice for 2v1 if you aren't jungling.
What I do with Nunu (and Yi, actually), is whenm I'm not jungling, run to their wraiths and Consume (Alpha Strike) their blue. Blue wraith gives you almost 50% of a level alone, and Master Yi can potentially kill all four Wraiths with one Q.

I always get First blood when i solo top as Lee sin... Dunno why i just get.

And 2v1 lane ussaly means free kills for your jungler when he decides to gank...

If you can play these champs well, then 2v1 shouldn't be any real trouble

JarvanIV
Gragas
Mordekaiser

Jarvan has a lot of defense and great poke.
Gragas has amazing range and should not run out of mana (REALLY hard to deny him)
Mordekaiser has Ironman....And short CDs, and Ironman....

Those are the best 2v1 champs I can think of.

Bad junglers are bad. If they say "Not ganking until 6" prepare to lose. I'm of the opinion any jungler who isn't comfortable enough to gank without their ulti is bad and will feed.

It's really annoying NOT to have an enemy jungler...Soloquing and hoping for the enemy team to have a jungler is like hoping fat people all simultaneously get on diets.

It's frusterating as the jungler not to have an enemy jungler because you have to keep your eye on your solo lane. It's ok because you can hit level 5 or 6 real fast depending on your route and who you're jungling as just because there are free camps on the opposite side. But that doesn't mean **** in the jungle until your 6, I typically like to gank around level 3 or 4 when the enemy is still rather weak. It's frusterating as the solo laner when your ****tard jungler doesn't understand how to gank, too busy ****ing in the jungle.

The pressure on the jungler multiplies when he/she is the only one jungling. Their responsibility falls to making sure top lane doesn't suck ****...More often than not top lane does suck **** and you get to watch top tower die in 5 minutes, while top lane is complaing he/she didnt get any ganks...My reply is "why did you call solo top, or choose a champion to solo with IF YOU WEREN'T EXPECTING A 2v1.... ?"
