Greetings ladies and gentlemen....
I am bored :D
I want to buy some kind of new game, with a great story.
The following I have already played:
* Dragon age I & II
* Elderscrolls Oblivion and Morrowind and Skyrim
* Bioshock
* Amnesia
* The Walking Dead
* Dishonored
* And some other titles, I forgot the name of :D
Any recommendations? :D

But really storyline wise... Huh it's like that one named fire emblem :)
I even play table rpgs :P
Me to, the best story games are the table rpgs, pick a good system and the right kinda people and good times are just about guaranteed
Old Skool: Baldur's Gate....... I'm old
Diablo 2 i installed before google chrome everytime i reinstall comp... I even play table rpgs :P
Someone mentioned above the Neverwinter Nights, the 1st game with it's expansions were great, NWN2 just sucked.
I agree, in terms of gameplay, Mass Effect 1, 2 and 3 were all decent. Yes, I had qualms about ME3 ending and it really did piss me off in many ways, but yes, the game was still pretty good.
I would disagree that the first AC had the best gameplay, because at one point, you would just get a rinse/repeat of doing the same missions in 3 different cities. It's just nice to have the storyline before continuing to ACII.
I said AC1 had the best STORY, compared to simple revenge, then more revenge, then finding a reason to keep Ezio working. AC2 and the rest of Ezio had Ezio, the best character in the series. AC3 had the best gameplay, especially the naval combat. Oh mah gawd, that's the only damn reason I play AC3 at all anymore. But AC3 had a ****ty story, a ****ty ending, and a ****ty main character. So AC1 took the cake on the story side; redemption, discovery, enlightenment.
Its got great gameplay, story, art etc. plus its indie so its super cheap.
Or if your feeling particulary fruity(lol) id also reccomend fez. Just a ridiculously unique game.
BUY THEM NAOWH!!! XD
They're talking about VI I'm pretty sure. Maw has only played VI so far.
FF8 just has too many ******** plot points/****py characters for me. Also, the gameplay is completely broken. To be fair it has some good moments and interesting locations and I used to love it when I was younger.
yes. and agreed.
I'm japanese and I haven't played a single FF game so far.
ur doing it wrong
Whew, feels good to get that out for once.
I've always wanted to but Fantasy Star (or whatever the name was) kinda settled my hunger for that genre.

Also, you mention VII, but why no VIII? The 'great evil' is a little forced if you don't get into speculative fan theories, but the rest of the story really stood out to me. The main negative is the draw system of magic (I loved it, but I know many did not).
I've still not actually completed VI :/ Too lazy to grind my second party up for the last dungeon, and my main one is too OP (Soul of Thamasa + Celestriad, 5 ultima casts in one turn for a mere 6 mana :D)
