"MR runes != tank. AP mids run MR runes instead of Ability Power runes in tough matchups; doesn't make them a tank. You need the damage reduction early game. "

"That is correct; I probably could have worded that better ("every single AD Carry's autoattacks"). In the context of champions with little to no AD scaling skills like Ashe, autoattacks are the primary source of damage, in which case IE first is the optimal choice. "

"Rushing Kage's Lucky Pick and not building it into anything isn't smart. Additionally, maxing Bouncing Blades first ruins your level-6 burst, your pushing and farming power, and lane harass potential. This also makes you deal low damage in teamfights until level 13.

"AP Trist is actually good because Rocket Jump resets on kill or assist; she can wreck teamfights much like what an AP Master Yi can, solely because of the cooldown reset. Miss Fortune lacks a mechanism like that; Make it Rain only gets used once in a teamfight and possibly Bullet T"
