Been trying to get out of bronze for... don't remember how many months. In bronze it doesn't even matter how good you are, becuse the rest of the team will have the skill cap of a ****ing potato (yea the 4 of them together).
Lost my promotion series the 2nd time this month, loosing twice as much LP than what i get for a win. So great -_- and when you finally get into promotion series you get instalock heimerdinger as 1st pick... going to bot... stealing all the farm of noob adc who can't last hit.
Bronze is not playing, its a ****ing gamble. At best it's 1v1 and 8 others ******s running around, and you hope for the better ******s to be in your team.
This LP system with the promo series is ********, i want ELO back...

My all-time-low was 914 elo. I used to think elohell existed back then. After I improved myself, I realized how ignorant I was.
This might sound cruel but it felt like playing with bots. People have no idea how to make calls, they ignite you at level one without using other skills, they chase you through the jungle withouth knowing what might lurk there, and this goes both ways. I've already disserted about this elsewhere, but people at that elo does not want to win, they want kills. SO if YOU want to win you have to a) Keep calm, b) Pick a rough snowballer or, if "stuck" at support, a support that can afford to go a bit on the damage side (I carried a game with Nidalee support but that's not as easy as it sound) like
There are some higher elo people, who, as an "experiment", played on an account in bronze elo and tested whether 'Elo Hell' exists. All of them won the large majority of their games and climbed out easily.
In response, some bronze players much like yourself have said "Well of course, they don't belong there, so why wouldn't they?". And that is exactly the point. If someone really doesn't deserve to be there at all, (s)he won't be stuck.
Now before I make this sound like I disagree with you and the idea of 'Elo Hell' completely, I do think people can be "stuck" close to their actual elo, for example someone who is stuck in higher bronze could skillwise easily be silver. However, because a silver player is not way better than a bronze player, he won't outlpay his laning opponent every game and his chances of winning are only slightly increased by his skill level, whereas the chances of the high elo players I mentioned before were increased dramatically due to the huge gap in skill.
Yes, you're right, luck is a factor. The good news for you, however? You're bronze. That means that if you want to climb out, all you have to do is be a lot better than other bronze players. And to be perfectly honest (even though I know this may sound as an insult to you, sorry), bronze players are bad, so that shouldn't be hard.
Also, mentality/attitude is huge, so I suggest you look at this positively and work on improving.
Good luck.
You might want to try playing support for a few games.
I dunno, I just find that it's easier to win when playing support in ranked, since your team doesn't have to be decent. All I'm trying to say is, try every role eligible to you, you might find something with which you win a lot.
Also,
Is being better than bronze really that important to you? I guess I'm too weak-minded to get to silver, since when you play for a long time you can get to silver, it just takes too long for my taste. I lack the determination.
Watching O.P. seems like a good thing to do, I can only recommend that.
I'm not even sure if Renek is really that good right now, another good way to win might be playing those flavor of the month champs, such as
In addition to that, if you really want a good place to play games, the best way to do so is draft, where the players are nice(r) and actually decent.
And the enemy team never has trolls and/or bad players, right?
they do, there are usually 1-1 good players both side as i noted... it's all about luck who gets the worse teammates, which is freaking frustrating after a while
I usually watch 2 episodes of One Piece between matches... about 20 minutes each, to calm down...
You might want to try playing support for a few games.
Well look at my match history... i do sometimes, usually ending with more kills as thresh than one of the carry roles :P
Go main vayne. You don't need a team, you can just make a solo penta lategame :P
Or main leblanc so that the enemy team will flame the midlaner every game :D
I'm the worst on those roles XD. Maining renek top, thresh supp atm, might try nunu jungle.
