Hello everybody sn0wwarrior here again. Now I realize Im a little late on this one with the patch having come out about 2 days ago but hey better late then never right :).

Sivir has just gotten a remake on her passive Fleet of Foot and her Ricochet. First off the ever loved farming like a boss tool or Ricochet is now become an on next hit effect. This is simmalar to Nasus and his q skill. Hello again everyone,

Well season 2 started off this week and to be honest I am pumped about this. New mastieries, new summoner spells, new ladders, TEAMS!!!!!!! and of course the new spectator mode that was released not too long ago. I'm really looking foward to Christmas Break where I can have some time to really play a bunch and get back into the full swing of things. Not much to truly coment on yet (though the preview of Volibear looks like another EPIC champion design by Riot).

Today I wish to address a trend in LOL that greatly troubles me. This is the loss of a true tank role in exchange for tanky built carries (mainly ad melee). The problems with this scenario are two fold.

#1. Lack of initation and CC: The main role of a tank is to initate team fights and throw down some heavy CC. Tanks like Alistar, Amumu, Rammus, and Leona are desinged to jump in put down some cc on the enemy carries and let your carries come in behind and wreck face on a helpless enemy team. So here we go my first blog post on MOBAfire. The topic: the recently announced changes to the summoner spells.

#1. BYE TO FLASH: So looks like longer CD on flash and reduced distance.....wait, its possible to measure less distance on flash? Yeah great idea lets encourage agresive game play by eliminating escape mechanisms so we wont want to risk being aggressive. Am I the only one who sees a problem with this logic? Also since were talking about aggressive, I use flash to attack people. It makes a great gap closer or positioning for my combo. oh well new meta time :)!!
