So I bought Udyr yesterday and decided to try him in a custom game. I set up the rest of both teams to fit the meta, but as it turns out the bots don't care and just run around in random lanes. At first it was kinda weird, but I got it down after a couple ganks.
This go 'round I played Phoenix stance jungle. This is ridiculous....isn't it supposed to be at least a little hard the first time you try a champion?
The enemy Garen bot did get a triple kill on my team (while I was grabbing dragon), but the game eventually was won.
Maybe it's time to skip to some normals...seeing as co-ops won't give me much.
NOW....anyone have any helpful suggestions/tips?
After those items, I always built according to my team and the enemy team. Udyr such an easy champ to learn :l
I liked Wriggle's, but ended up selling it for the bloodrazor.
Thanks for all your advice! I think I've got a decent idea for a core build now.
You could max both pheonix and tiger stances while leaving turtle stance at just 3 points. If you did that, switch between pheonix stance for the AoE damage and tiger stance for the pure DPS and you will be a beast in teamfights (mixing in some bear stance for stuns).
For your build, I would start with
Wit's End is also amazing for Udyr. Buy it.
Getting Stark's without FroMa or Warmogs seems odd.
As jungle Udyr you might not have time to buy a Triforce before you need bulk. Just go Wit's End into Atmogs/Fratma's.
