I don't think skipping the jungle item is ever a good idea on Kayn. Smite upgrades are all really good, it's crazy cost efficient and it's almost 1k gold cheaper for similar stats.
I have tried it on other champions, such as Graves and Warwick"

He's saying to skip Enchantment: Warrior and just sit on the hunters talisman for jungle XP/mana sustain.
I disagree with that, "don't call me crazy till you try it" is a fair enough statement as Hecarim goes smite upgrade >"
