I think the issue here is that people already look at non-meta guides with distrust (eh, even meta guides if there's an item there they haven't seen X player use even if it's good. As an example, I had a ton of people discussing on my Swain guide how I didn't list X item on the cheat sheet, all of them plat +, many of them not even agreeing among themselves, which was frustratingly sad). If they see players with no credibility (aka no shiny ZOMG HIGH ELO badge) saying "go AP Ashe because reasons" they'll just not read/downvote.
However, I think you could do weekly blogs (or something with visibility) where you discuss these possibilities, or even utilize this guide as the means, like it was done with AD Leblanc. It's superficial, but people can always try out new stuff for fun.
Also, AD Morgana is fun if the enemy team has 3-4 melee champs and you're competent with the binds. It's ridiculous how long they stay bound while you CRIT CRIT CRIT YOU TOO WILL BE JUDGED

First item was Shiv and that's exactly how it went.
Side note: dunno if this was a bug I saw, but you might REALLY want to use Morg now; her spell shield blocks exhaust. It was the freakiest thing dunno if it blocks ignite (doubt it does) but appareantly your adc can never die. XD
