Have you heard of Darker than Black and Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom yet? Personally I think that Phantom's darker.

They aren't any good, but neither is Mirai Nikki, so you should have no problems watching those.

I've started watching new anime shows lately, in autumn season I watched psycho pass season 2, which was worse than s1 and log horizon 2 (don't know why didn't I stop watching it after few episodes, it was horrible)
I'm disappointed with currently airing anime, still gotta check new ones, but I doubt I'll find somethign interesting. I remembered someone's sugestion to watch Samurai Flamenco, so I did. It was very good show, I'd give it 8/10.
Currently I'm watching N.H.K ni youkoso, it seems promising.
Basically, we had that alot here already.
First of, people have different taste.
Then if 90% of everything which is being aired wouldn't suck, we would not have any good ones to hype either.
Then to go back to a famous anime director who said that anime industry is inflated with otakus who are not following the industry but active in the production, causing storys and plot with no deeper relation to reality, cause of the lack of observation of actual real human interactions.
(See SAO, Accel World etc.) Just look at how characters get to know each other or even fall in love.
And stereotypes forcefully being used and overused.
Like srlsy, wtf.
Note, otaku is actually used as a negative term here btw
