I don't think Kha was built as a bruiser either, but nowadays if you build a single resistance item with hp on it (banshee, randuin, visage) in a full ad champ, you're considered a bruiser.

Kha'Zix was built as a bruiser, back when they gave Void Assault a 50% DR while in stealth and his Taste Their Fear had a 6% of targets missing health damage. (Also, Isolation worked differently and I think gave more damage)I could try and recall the build that was used, if you want.

And the thing is, Fizz is very similar in his kit to Kha'Zix. Both have the % missing HP damage, both have ways to avoid damage and both have insane amounts of mobility. The only difference is really that Fizz has to land his ultimate to make the plays, while Kha'Zix doesn't have the problem. Also Kha'Zix has the sustain to go jungle while Fizz doesn't have that.
