Hearthfire was made with Xbox in mind. There were plenty of "build own house" -mods even back then so it wasn't necessary at all.

Some mods may require it

And it may mess up some mods/gameplay since it really doesn't function properly unless you clean master files + install pretty much any custom patch you have. I read someplace that it is the most incompatible DLC since it adds so much useless clutter (in-game/code).

Is it worth to buy the Skyrim extensions? I've pretty much done everything and I can't find things to do anymore. I have a new character which is a mage but the class feels kinda slow.

Dawnguard and Dragonborn are worth it, for sure.

There was some discussion about it recently, on page 45 I think.

I-is this still a thing?

I wanted to start playing Skyrim again but a lot of my mods got eff'd up due to neglect to update and I didn't feel like hunting down mods 1 by 1 so I nuked it and am starting on a fresh install.

Also, anyone wanna talk about that silly thing Valve did last week?
