I'm a little skeptical about the runes tbh. I'm not too fond of scaling CDR. I'd prefer just flat CDR in most cases. Games have usually been decided by the time scaling CDR starts to beat out flat CDR runes

Faker is running it on every champion he uses.

By the way, I do appreciate the +rep's. Nobody was commenting on this thread, but I noticed the number of people reading the thread each time I posted. Then, when I saw the two extra "+rep" I got after the third post, I knew at least a couple of people appreciated it, so it encouraged me to keep going and go through the work to make the chime/meep table. The rep system may seem kind of silly, but it's definitely a nice way to give encouragement, even if you don't have something meaningful to say in a comment.

@MungoGerl: I cannot attest to or agree with everything posted here because I do not own Bard, but I saw your effort, read through it and things made sense so I thought you deserved the +rep I gave you back then ;)
By the way, now that I have more experience with playing Bard, I want to comment on Bard's primary "weakness" in that he's a support who is expected to run around a lot. I've found that the more I play him, the less time I need to spend running around collecting chimes. Instead, I tend to collect chimes in binges now. The nice thing about Bard is that he has incredible sustain. Let's say a team fight has concluded that was not decisive. Everybody's hurt and going back to base to heal or getting buffs in the jungle, etc. Well, Bard can heal himself as he's running through the jungle chime hunting and the chimes themselves give him mana back. Most often I found myself recalling not to heal but to refresh my sightstone charges and buy something.
So, yes, he wanders a lot, which can annoy teammates. However, I suspect that good Bards will separate themselves from the bad Bards with their awareness to know when are good times to go on chime hunting binges. Of course, the first week, teammates will get really annoyed as noob Bards try to run around collecting every chime the moment that they drop. But hopefully, after a time, good Bards will separate themselves, and Bard will stop being a pariah the way he is often treated currently on the PBE.

That's fair enough. I suppose one could insert a
